Should You Share Glaamorr BeetGlow Lip Balm?

04 Oct 2026 0 comments

Keep your Glaamorr BeetGlow Lip Balm for your own use rather than sharing one open pot. A lip-care product can be a thoughtful gift; an already-used container is not the same thing as giving someone their own unopened pack.

Personal use is a simple hygiene habit

The FDA advises consumers not to share cosmetics, to keep containers clean and to wash hands before application, particularly when dipping fingers into a container. This is general cosmetic hygiene guidance and does not indicate that a specific BeetGlow batch is contaminated. FDA cosmetic microbiological safety

For a pot format, make clean application part of the routine. Wash your hands, use a clean fingertip and close the container after applying. If you use an applicator, keep it clean and personal. Do not dip an applicator used by another person into the pot. A shared bathroom shelf can still hold separate, clearly identified products.

Keep the product's role realistic

The current BeetGlow listing describes a 6 g lip balm containing beetroot extract and labelled SPF 15. It is intended for everyday lip care and reapplication when lips feel dry, including after eating or drinking. The beetroot ingredient does not make sharing more hygienic, and colour is not a sign of cleanliness.

For outdoor lip sun protection, AAD recommends SPF 30 or higher. BeetGlow's SPF 15 should not be presented as meeting that recommendation or as a substitute for face sunscreen. AAD dry-lip guidance

If someone wants to try your balm

Offer the product link or an unopened personal pack instead of passing around yours. That is especially useful at work, during travel or while getting ready together: everyone can choose and use their own product without repeated contact with one container.

If the product develops an unusual smell, texture or colour, stop and check the pack and brand guidance. Persistent painful or irritated lips need professional advice; do not keep testing a balm that feels uncomfortable.

Quick answer: Share the recommendation or gift a new pack. Keep the opened lip balm personal.
