Can You Use Glaamorr Niacinamide Serum After Its Vitamin C Cleanser?

03 Oct 2026 0 comments

Yes, the two Glaamorr products can occupy different steps in the same routine: the Gentle Foaming Cleanser is a rinse-off product, while the 5% Niacinamide Brightening Serum is a leave-on step.

The useful distinction is not simply “vitamin C versus niacinamide.” It is formula, concentration, contact time and how your own skin responds. A rinse-off cleanser containing a vitamin C derivative is not equivalent to applying a concentrated leave-on vitamin C serum.

The basic order

  1. Wet the face with lukewarm water.
  2. Cleanse gently with fingertips.
  3. Rinse completely and pat dry.
  4. Apply the niacinamide serum as directed.
  5. Follow with moisturizer.
  6. In the morning, finish with sunscreen.

AAD guidance places cleansing first, treatment products next, then moisturizer and/or sunscreen. There is no need to mix the cleanser and serum together in your palm.

What the labels actually say

The cleanser is a 100 ml rinse-off product labelled with 3-O-ethyl ascorbic acid. The serum is a 30 ml leave-on product labelled with 5% niacinamide, 2% licorice, alpha arbutin and kojic acid.

Those facts do not guarantee that every person will tolerate both. The serum contains multiple highlighted ingredients, so it should not be treated as a single-ingredient niacinamide product.

Introduce the routine methodically

If both products are new, introduce one at a time. Patch-test the leave-on serum, start conservatively and avoid adding several other active products on the same day. This makes irritation easier to identify.

Persistent stinging, swelling, itching or a rash is a reason to stop—not proof that the products are “working.” If the combination feels drying, simplify the routine and seek qualified advice if symptoms persist.

What this pairing cannot promise

Using two brightening-positioned products does not guarantee faster fading of marks, and more serum does not equal faster results. Uneven tone can have different causes, some of which need professional assessment. Daily sun protection remains important when addressing visible uneven tone.

Bottom line: cleanser first, rinse, then serum. Judge the complete routine by comfort and consistency rather than ingredient myths or the number of actives.
